Do you do or think you do?
And if you only think you did,
Did you do what you wanted to?
Body in action does mind's bid,
But not if mind doesn't stop.
Is thought in action hid?
Do you worry if it will flop?
Hesitate for twenty years;
Don't be a soldier or cop.
Such, with purpose, never veers;
With deed, fully alive.
But what use with no fears
If unaware of own strive?
Why bother to even be?
Why bother to thrive?
But if only hear and see,
Contemplate what it's all about,
Questions alone can't make free
To do, to go, to shout.
Do you do or think you do?
